Night 1
Ho Chi Minh City - TOKYO | BOEING 787-8: 5:30' flight

Evening

  • 20:30: You will arrive at the International Departure Terminal, Tan Son Nhat Airport, meet the tour guide to check in for flight JL 70 (Japan Airlines) departing for Tokyo at 23:20.
  • You will rest on the plane.

 

Day 1
TOKYO - CHICAGO | BOEING 777-300: 11:40' flight
Arrival in Chicago

  • 06:50 AM (Tokyo time): Arrive at Haneda Airport, connect to flight JL 10 to Chicago at 11:30 AM.
  • Due to crossing the time zone, you will arrive at Chicago O’Hare Airport (ORD) at 09:10 AM the same day (local time).
  • Complete immigration procedures, receive luggage, then the car will pick you up for lunch.
  • 15:00 PM: Check in at the hotel, rest after the long flight.
  • Overnight in Chicago.

Day 2
CHICAGO TOUR
  • Discover Chicago – The City of Architecture and the Art of Living!
  • Start your day with the iconic “Cloud Gate” (nickname: The Bean) – a 110-ton stainless steel artwork that beautifully reflects the Chicago skyline.
  • Stroll through Millennium Park – home to over 100 concerts a year, living up to the spirit of “Urbs in Horto” – City in a Garden.
  • Visit Buckingham Fountain – nearly 85 meters long, shooting up to 45 meters high, which has appeared in many Hollywood movies.
  • Next, go to the 103rd floor of Skydeck Chicago (412m high) – one of the highest observation decks in the US, try the thrill of “Ledge” – a glass balcony jutting out into the air.
  • End your journey at Navy Pier – a 50-acre Lake Michigan recreation area that welcomes over 9 million visitors each year – a “city within a city”.

CHICAGO – MILWAUKEE (1h30' car) – CHICAGO (Car: 1h 20 minutes/way)

Stop at Milwaukee City Hall – built in 1895, once the tallest building in the United States, in the top 9 most beautiful city halls in the country.Return to Chicago in the afternoon, have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 4
CHICAGO – BUFFALO (01h34' flight) – VISIT NIAGARA FALLS AT NIGHT
 
  • Fly to Buffalo – admire the brilliant Niagara wonder at night.
  • In the morning, the group checks out and goes to the airport to fly to Buffalo, the second largest city in New York State, once known as the “Electric City” because it was the first place in the US to use alternating current from Niagara Falls (in 1896).
  • In the afternoon, return to the hotel to rest.
  • In the evening, witness Niagara Falls with your own eyes – one of the 5 largest waterfalls in North America, gushing more than 168,000 m³ of water per minute. At night, the falls become magical under the color-changing LED lights, creating a fairy-tale scene.
  • Overnight at a hotel in the Niagara Falls area.

 

Day 5
NIAGARA FALLS TOUR – ALBANY (CAR: 5 hours)
 
  • Experience Niagara Falls – a living wonder amidst majestic nature.
  • After breakfast, you will board the “Maid of the Mist” boat, approaching the foot of Niagara Falls from the American side – where the giant water flows down, creating dense fog and a magical seven-color rainbow. Feel the resounding sound and the white foam from a height of more than 50 meters – an unforgettable experience at the world-famous natural wonder, welcoming more than 12 million visitors each year.
  • At noon, the group checks out and departs for Albany – the capital of New York State, about 500km (~5 hours by car) from Niagara.
  • Arrive in the afternoon, have dinner and rest in Albany.

Day 6
ALBANY – VERMONT (Car: 04 hours) – VERMONT – BETHLEHEM (Car: 1h30')
 
  • Rustic and ancient beauty in the mountains and forests of Vermont.
  • After breakfast, the group leaves Albany, continuing the journey to Vermont – a land famous for its red autumn leaves and poetic natural scenery.
  • Visit Quechee Gorge – the deepest canyon in Vermont, formed more than 13,000 years ago by melting glaciers, with a depth of nearly 50 meters.
  • Stop at Quechee Bridge – the oldest steel arch bridge in the state, with ancient beauty in the middle of nature.
  • Free shopping at Quechee Gorge Village – a famous complex with Vermont Antique Mall, which stores thousands of antiques and handicrafts typical of the Northeast region of America.
  • In the afternoon, the group continues the journey, staying overnight in Bethlehem – a peaceful town located in the mountains and forests of New Hampshire.

 

Day 7
BETHLEHEM – MT WASHINGTON COG RAILWAY – CONWAY – PORTLAND
  Conquer the roof of Northeast America – relax on the most beautiful autumn road in America.

After breakfast, the group checks out and departs for Mount Washington State Park.
Experience the Mount Washington Cog Railway – operating since 1869, this is the first mountain railway in the world, helping to conquer the 1,916m high Mount Washington peak, known as the “home of the gods” with a panoramic view of all 5 states in the Northeast of America.
(⛅ Note: The train may temporarily stop operating if the weather is bad.)

In the afternoon, the group passes through the town of Conway, reaching the golden autumn paradise on Kancamagus Highway – the road known as one of the most beautiful places to see autumn leaves in the world – a 56km long road through the White Mountain National Forest with other names such as New Hampshire Route 112 or The Kanc.

Continue to move to Portland (Maine state) – a peaceful port city on the Atlantic coast.
Evening, dinner and check in hotel. Overnight in Portland.

 

 

Day 8
PORTLAND - BOSTON (CAR: 02 hours)
 
  • Explore the traditional fishing industry and unique cuisine of Maine.
    In the morning, after breakfast and check-out, you will board the Lucky Catch to experience catching lobsters – a famous culinary symbol of Maine, which produces more than 80% of the total US lobster production each year. Maine lobsters are famous for their firm, sweet meat and rich flavor, known as the “king of seafood”.
  • Maine is also known for its nearly 5,500 km long coastline, providing an ideal environment for the traditional lobster fishing industry that has existed for more than 200 years. Immerse yourself in the life of fishermen, enjoy the salty sea air and enjoy fresh lobsters – an unforgettable experience.

In the afternoon, the group continues the journey to Boston – the capital of Massachusetts.

BOSTON: TOUR

  • Tour group:
  • Harvard University – Founded in 1636, is the oldest university in the United States and one of the most prestigious universities in the world, having trained 8 US Presidents and more than 160 Nobel laureates.
  • Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) – The world’s leading research center on technology, engineering, artificial intelligence and space, home to more than 95 Fortune 500 companies and playing a key role in many defense and NASA projects.
  • Beacon Hill – A picturesque old town, famous for its brownstones, old gas lamps and cobblestone streets. This is where politicians, the elite and famous scholars in Boston live.
  • Quincy Market – A 19th-century market, now the busiest shopping and dining spot in Boston. Enjoy the clam chowder or Maine lobster roll!

In 2026, the United States celebrates its 250th anniversary, and Boston is one of the first cities to celebrate this important anniversary – a place that marks many important historical events in the American Revolution. Boston is considered the “cradle of the American Revolution” with historical sites and museums throughout the city.

In the evening, stay overnight in Boston.

 

 

Day 10
VISIT RELATIVES/ BOSTON - TOKYO (BOEING 787-9: 13h55' flight)
  • In the morning, after checking out, you can separate from the group to visit relatives and friends; or go with the group to Logan Intl. Airport (BOS) to check in for flight JL 007 back to Vietnam at 13:20.
  • *** Note: If you separate from the group to visit relatives, you will be responsible for the additional costs of domestic airfare and transportation (if any). Au My Travel will support you with advice and booking of transportation (domestic airfare, car) if you need it.

 

Day 11
TOKYO – HO CHI MINH CITY (BOEING 787-8: 06 hours 15 minutes flight)

Afternoon

16:15: Arrive at Narita Intl. (NRT).

Transfer to flight JL 759 departing for Ho Chi Minh City at 17:45.

Evening

21:55: Arrive at Tan Son Nhat Airport.
